Learn how to decorate with confidence using the beautiful bold color of red.

Red is not just for Christmas!

Red is a statement color and commands attention.

The orangey shades of red provides energy and makes you feel alive.  While the darker blue - purple shades of reds create an element of warmth and coziness.
Pairing red with browns, taupe's and beige's creates a cozy room perfect for those fall days/evenings.

Create Balance

When painting a wall with a bold color, incorporate shades of that color with various patterns and textures throughout the room.

If you are not afraid to go bold, you can create a beautiful backdrop by painting a wall red.

You do not need to paint a room to add a bold color to your room.

Red is said to stimulate the appetite - hence the use of red in grocery stores.
For this reason Red is a great addition to a kitchen or dining room.

Attention is in the details.
The eye follows from the stools up to the top cupboard on to the front door making the room feel larger.

Remember -- Doors are part of your Decor

It is the first thing your guests see when they enter and
the last thing they see when they exit.

I see it so many times, a room is beautifully decorated and then -- standing tall -- a plain boring outdated door.

This entry not only has curb appeal, but welcomes you in style.
This easy to create entry begs you to open the door to see what lies on the other side.
Red is not just for the interior rooms!
Brighten up your outdoor room with the pizzazz of red.One of my favorite furniture pieces for entertaining is this Outdoor Bar.  It is available in a wide range of colors.  Various bar stools are available to bring your style to the outdoors.

The bench above, the rocker & table below would be a fabulous addition to designing your outdoor room.
